Copywriting
for Press Releases
Press releases are a relatively inexpensive way to increase
your public profile and also generate more traffic to your
website. They can be used to offer fresh site content and
news to your audiences including customers, potential employees,
investors, and the media.
Press
releases may remain posted for several months on news and
distribution sites, driving interested search engine traffic
to your site when optimized properly.
A
copywriter who is well-versed in press release strategies
can help you devise a press release writing and distribution
plan to achieve your company's goals.
Below
are external links to a few sample press release copywriting
projects. We also handle in-house press release copywriting
for firms on an ongoing basis, to assist marketing managers
in maintaining an aggressive media strategy (confidentiality
assured).

Budding Artists Host Art Show and Sale to Help Other Children
Halifax, NS, Canada - February 4, 2004 - A group of 6- to
12-year-old artists who participate in after-school and week-end
Budding Artists Workshops decided to sell their art to help
other children. Budding Artists will be hosting an art show
and sale at Schooner Cove Gallery at the Head of Saint Margaret's
Bay on February 28th, 2004, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. with all
proceeds to go to the IWK Health Centre Foundation.
The children meet at Schooner Cove Gallery to explore art
on canvas. It was the little participants themselves who had
the idea to host the show and donate all proceeds. The workshops
were started by Miriam Beach, a local artist and photographer
and curator of Schooner Cove Gallery.
Says Beach, "I wanted to give children a chance to discover
their artist inside. Children don't receive enough exposure
to art in school, and there are so many kids who'd love to
learn to paint." Among topics she teaches are types of
brushes and their use and care, how to use colors together,
and basic techniques. But she lets the students learn by doing,
saying, "The little artists just love getting right in
there and painting. They are serious about their work and
learn very quickly."
Schooner Cove Gallery is located on an idyllic waterfront
setting in St. Margaret's Bay. Beach presents photography
and art by local artists with viewings by appointment only.
